November 25th, 2017 – The Geyserville Chamber of Commerce announces the 8th Annual Tree Lighting and Tractor Parade will be held on Saturday, November 25th, 2017.  The tradition of stringing lights on farm equipment, while fairly new to this community, promises to be a long standing one.  Every year the crowds get larger and larger.

The festivities begin with the arrival of Santa at the Park and Ride Plaza at 5pm.  Kids will get a chance to sit on Santa’s lap and relay all their holiday wishes while parents can snap a photo (Photo services not provided).  The tree lighting and caroling begin at 6pm and the main event, the parade of lights, begins at approximately 6:30pm.  The parade will begin at the north end of town and make one pass through the downtown area.  The route is approximately 1.5 miles long so there will be plenty of room to see the lights.  The parade route will be closed to vehicle traffic at the North & South end of town starting at 6:00pm.  Be sure to get in town early to enjoy something to eat and drink.

Other features to include:

*Shops, tasting rooms, & restaurants open

*Chili & Corn Bread at GVFD Firehouse, $5 or an unwrapped toy

*Hot Dog & Beverages at the Odd Fellow Hall

*Hot Chocolate & Goodies at various locations through-out the parade route
